Its profile shows it as long and slim so that the weight is concentrated down the spine rather than putting strain against the alignment of the strength of the back.

The Y1 carrying system has bars specifically arranged to provide both efficient load transfer as well as flexibility for comfort, which is further enhanced by the padded shoulder straps the ergonomically shaped hipbelt that prevents slippage of the backpack.

There is the facility to adjust the load-control straps, the shoulder straps and the hip belt to give the best fit to the individual wearer.
