Nebo Big Poppy Camping Lantern

The NEBO Big Poppy is a rechargeable lantern that can be used in four different ways for versatile use in various situations.

A main cool white lantern mode provides full 360° lighting with a maximum output of 300 lumens, which is great for covering a larger close up area and the lantern also has a realistic flame flicker mode. For up a more directional light with a longer range there is the spot LED in the bottom of the lantern which provides a maximum output of 120 lumens.

There is also a power bank function which is handy for charging your devices when away from home. Simply reveal the standard USB port by removing the dust cover and insert the devices charging cable. A light on the lantern will go green to show the device is being charged. If the charge of the Big Poppy drops to 10% the light on the lantern will go red to show that the lantern needs to be recharged.

The Big Poppy is powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is recharged via the include micro USB cable. Reveal the charging port on the side of the torch by lifting the dust cover and insert the micro USB end of the cable. Then plug the USB end into a computer, power bank or mains using a USB adaptor. A small charging indicator next to the charging port will turn red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete.

The torch is operated with the large push button located along the bottom edge of the Big Poppy. The lantern is revealed by pulling the top section upwards and once in position press the button once to access the highest output. A second press will enter the realistic flame mode, which provides 10 lumens of flickering warm white light to imitate the glow of a camp fire. To use the spot setting, ensure the lantern is closed and press the button once to turn on.

Both spot and lantern outputs have a dimmable feature that is accessed by holding the button down while the torch is turned on in either mode and the brightness will gradually decrease until it reaches the lowest output and will then begin to increase again. It will flash to notify you once you are at the lowest and highest output. If the light has been dimmed, you can easily accessed the last used setting by quickly double pressing the button from off.

The handy carry handle allows the lantern to be hung up and easily carried, but it also can be detached from the top of the lantern and reattached horizontally on the side of the lantern so it can be just as easily carried when using the spot LED.
