The Snugpak Venture Unisex Search and Rescue TS1 Smock is a lightweight, windproof twin-layer top that provides sufficient storage to allow you to embark on S&R excursions safely in non-extreme conditions and locations in spring to autumn including night missions.

The TS of the Snugpak TS1 Smock name stands for the thermal suede of the lining. This is a lightweight, soft polyester moisture-wicking fabric whose sueded finish can be comfortably worn next to the skin.

This smock features conveniently positioned storage pockets plus D-rings and hook-and-loop patches so that you can take what you need and reach it all easily irrespective of whether you are wearing a backpack or harness.

A large outer pocket on the front of the central chest pocket which has a hook-and-loop security tab and a functional D-ring can be used to carry, for example, a selection from an A6 folded map, a notebook and pen/pencil, a smartphone in a protective case and a compact digital camera.

The hood of the standard Snugpak version of this smock has been removed but its stowage space is retained and can be used for storing a beanie hat, a scarf or a pair of gloves, for example.

In addition, you could carry a spare Snugpak Venture Unisex Windproof Search and Rescue TS1 Smock to offer weather protection to a found person as it is light enough and it packs down into its own pouch to the size of an orange.
