The Channel Polished Chrome Comfortmeter Combined Thermometer and Hygrometer is part of the Channel range of marine instruments that also includes a clock, a tide clock and a barometer.

In common with the other instruments in the range, the Channel Range Marine Polished Chrome Comfortmeter, Combined Thermometer and Hygrometer is made of anodised chrome over solid brass (not steel) with a shiny finish and bevelled glass.

The Channel Range of marine instruments all feature an external opening latch and hinge that give them a truly marine porthole-style appearance.

The Capstan Range Polished Chrome Marine Comfortmeter Combined Thermometer and Hygrometer features a thermometer in the upper half of the dial showing both Fahrenheit and Centigrade.

The hygrometer in the lower half of the dial shows the humidity of the atmosphere.
