Celestron Regal M2 65ED Spotting Scope

The Celestron Regal M2 65ED Spotting Scope is a top-of-the-range scope that you can use during daylight for extremely good results in, for example, wildlife observation but which you can also use for recreational observation of the celestial objects in the night sky.

The Celestron Regal series of spotting scopes include some sophisticated features such as Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass for minimised visual aberration, a dual focus mechanism and a magnesium alloy body that is very strong but much lighter than most other models of spotting scope.

A T-adapter ring is included for use with the appropriate T-ring (not included) for your 35mm/digital SLR camera so you can permanently capture the impressive sights you see via the scope.

  • ED objective lens minimizes chromatic aberration, gives accurate colour reproduction, increased resolution and contrast
  • XLT coatings (fully multi-coated optics): Proprietary XLT lens coatings maximize light transmission through optical path for brighter images and increased resolution and contrast
  • Magnesium alloy body is strong and durable but lighter than traditional aluminium alloy housings
  • Dual focus: Course focus for rough adjustment and fine focus for detailed adjustment; quicker focusing mechanism
  • Rotating tripod mount with detents places orientation of eyepiece in best viewing position for application
  • 16-48x zoom eyepiece: Adjustable magnification gives wide field of view for general viewing and detailed close-up viewing when needed; twist-up eyecup for correct positioning of user's eyes for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses
  • Standard 1.25-inch eyepiece mount allows variety of astronomical eyepieces to be used with spotting scope
  • T-adapter ring included for easy accommodation of 35mm/digital SLR photography
