The Berghaus Capucin Men’s Hydroloft Insulated Hooded Mountain Jacket is a very versatile jacket that can be used on its own or under a top coat as part of layering system when the weather is really cold. It is ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities.

For weather protection, there is a hood but also a sophisticated fabric design.

The main body fabric is Pertex Microlight, which is water resistant and wind resistant. It is backed up by body-mapped Hydroloft Elite Pro insulation.

This involves more insulation being positioned where it is most need over the torso and less where it is not needed so much and where freedom of movement is very significant.

So the shoulders, sides and lower arms of the Berghaus Capucin Men’s Insulated Hooded Jacket have less insulation with the arms from just above the elbows, for example, then being free for reaching out for support on a tricky mountain path or to help you keep your balance.

Hydroloft Elite Pro is itself water resistant and also quick drying and therefore its loft is in its most effective condition for more of the time even in the worst conditions.
