Hi! I'm Matt, a multi-award-winning creative designer and photographer based in the South West of England, UK with a passion for all things outdoors.
I have had an interest in the outdoors since a young age and involved with the Scouts Organisation and Duke of Edinburgh Award as soon as I was old enough to join.

Over the span of 20 years, I went from participant to Outdoors Leader and assisting in the running of groups, expeditions and camps for both organisations. During this time, I achieved my own Chief Scouts Awards, Queen Scouts, Duke of Edinburgh Awards as well as the John Muir Awards. I continue my dedication and passion for the outdoors through my work as a mountain leader attending events for safety and photographic needs, or teaching on my workshops aimed at combining photography, camping, mountains and hill walking across the UK.
This goes hand in hand with my work as an Outdoor Journalist for MyOutdoors and as an ambassador for Snugpak and continued work with outdoor brands and events.
