Keela Iona Ladies’ Waterproof Trousers are excellent walking and hill-climbing legwear that use the Keela System Dual Protection (SDP) fabric technology.

SDP won the Queen’s Award for Innovation and the fabric is used by mountain rescue teams around the world. It is a double-layer fabric with an air gap between the two layers that raises the warmth rating of the garment.

The outer layer is tough and durable so it protects the limbs from sharp rocks and thorny vegetation, for example, as well as coping with the general wear and tear of outdoor life. It is also not only waterproof but also windproof.

The inner layer of these Keela Iona Ladies’ Waterproof Trousers is lightweight and soft to the touch and the fabric as a whole is breathable to minimise condensation build up on the skin to maximise the wearer’s comfort.

There are two-way 3/4-length leg zippers for easy putting on and taking off and the trouser leg ends protect the lower leg with a stormflap and Velcro closure.
