This very lightweight jacket provides excellent weather protection as it is waterproof and windproof. However, it is also breathable so sweat can escape in the form of moisture vapour to help keep you drier and therefore more comfortable.

Ventilation can be controlled through use of the zips under the arms where body heat tends to accumulate. Of course, the front zip can also be used for this purpose and the jacket is fitted with a snap fastener to prevent it from flapping about in blustery weather.
