Petzl Tikka XP2 Headlamp + Core Rechargeable Battery Pack
The Petzl Tikka XP2 Headlamp combined with the Core Rechargeable Li Battery Pack heralds a new generation of Petzl waterproof head torches. Featuring all the functionality of the Tikka XP2 Headlamp but with the added benefits of the high performance Core Rechargeable Li Battery Pack
The Petzl Tikka XP2 boasts one high output white LED, and one red LED, but featuring five separate lighting modes (three white modes: maximum, economic, and flashing; two red modes: continuous, and flashing.) Lighting modes are selected by pressing the easy access push button, designed even for use with gloves, but to prevent accidental switch on when stored in your pack. The white LED is capable to giving a maximum of 60 lumens and will shed light up to 60 metres. However, in economic mode, the Petzl Tikka XP2 will last around 160 hours!
An in-built wide angle lens can be flicked up or down allowing the user to select between a focussed beam or a flood beam, lending further versatility.
Can be powered by either the Core Rechargeable Li Battery Pack or by using AAA batteries.
The Tikka XP2 is also compatible with the Core Rechargeable Li Battery Pack, a more lightweight power source than conventional battery pack.
The clever regulator is fully adjustable using OS by Petzl on a PC or laptop. Burn time and brightness can be adjusted for those that know what they want and want full customisation. Provided with mains power connector and USB lead to plug into a computer.
The lithium-ion polymer technology offers the best performance even in the coldest environments, ideal for alpine climbing, mountaineering, or any cold weather activity. Over its lifetime, the Core Rechargeable Li Battery Pack eliminates the use of the equivalent of 300 sets of single use AAA batteries.
