Turboflame Turbo 2 Lighter

The TurboFlame Ranger Turbo 2 Lighter has double the flames and double the power.

The two fully-adjustable flames of the TurboFlame Turbo 2 Lighter allow you to light more substantial fires quickly and use a shielded platinum catalyser coil element to maintain a constant flame which burns at 1300°C.

The blowtorch-like flame is wind and weather resistant, meaning it will light in any conditions. A useful gas-level indicator means that you will never unknowingly run out of gas when you need it most.

The TurboFlame Turbo 2 Lighter also features a safety cap that keeps the flame area free from dirt, as well as a useful fastening hoop, meaning your lighter will always be to hand.

Features

  • Rubber case
  • Electronic piezo igniter
  • Wind resistant
  • Visible gas-level indicator
  • Adjustable 1300°C flame
  • Dual laser jet flames
  • Fastening hoop
  • Safety cap
  • Cap indent for craftwork

Turboflame Refilling

Lighters are sold without gas and it is recommended they are bled prior to filling to get rid of any compressed air in the reservoir. After the initial process of bleeding the lighter, you will only need to bleed it again when refilling.

Only bleed the lighter in a well ventilated area away from any open flames, heat sources or sparks. Use a pointed instrument to depress the valve at bottom centre of the lighter to discharge the trapped air/gas until the hissing stops. Caution: butane gas is very cold and can cause frost bites; point the refill valve away from yourself - i.e. downwards. For best results turn down the flame adjustment screw to minimum before bleeding. The lighter is then ready to be refilled.

Fill using the recommended butane gas refills, e.g. brands such as Colibri, Newport or Vector that use premium quality and are marked: Triple/Double refined or Near Zero Impurities. Otherwise, use of common supermarket brands that have high impurity (oils) content can cause carbon build up, catalyser clogging and ignition failure. If the flame flickers or becomes intermittent it can be an indicator that there is trapped air in the gas reservoir.

Please Note: This item can only be shipped within the UK and it will be supplied empty, i.e. without fuel.
