Each Montane garment has been given a specific fit based on the activities it is intended for and how many layers it is to be worn over.
This affects sizes so a medium in a jacket with an athletic mountain fit will feel much tighter than the same size in a jacket with a high mountain fit as it is designed to be worn over far fewer clothes.

Montane Mens Featherlite Smock
Pros
An incredibly lightweight and tiny-when-packed top layer, the Montane Featherlite Smock gives a very impressive weight-to-weather protection ratio. It is easy to pack away in your rucksack and forget about until you need it, taking up only the space of one Granny Smith apple! It can be used in almost any outdoor context and draw very enthusiastic responses from trail runners to rock climbers to casual walkers. The waterproofability can be (and should be) re-washed, making this Featherlite Smock a long-life product.
Cons
Obviously being so lightweight is a massive advantage, however it also means that when a big storm rolls in and the rain starts pounding down, there may be little this smock can do for you. Montane does have a large range of more heavy-duty products though.
