Grivel Air Tech Evolution Ice Axe
The lightweight and versatile Grivel Air Tech Evolution Ice Axe is the new version of the classic, tried and tested Air Tech.
With a head forged from a single piece of Chromolly steel, the Air Tech Evolution Ice Axe is a durable and reliable alpine classic. The gentle curve in the shaft helps give optimal clearance and makes anchoring easier, whereas the straighter lower section of the shaft helps the Air Tech Evolution sink easily into the snow with little effort.
A sliding hand rest will move to the top of the shaft when dug in, but slide back to the bottom to give hand traction whilst swinging the axe, and when combined with the rubber hold, gives a powerful grip.
