Spyderco 204MF Tri-Angle Sharpmaker
Included in your Spyderco 204MF Tri-Angle Sharpmaker are two sets of high-alumina ceramic stones: a pair of medium-grit (brown) 7 x 0.5 inch (178 x 13 mm) stones for aggressive sharpening and a pair of fine (white) 7 x 0.5 inch (178 x 13 mm) stones for professional-grade finishing.
The stones are triangular shaped and enable you to sharpen Plainadges on the flat sides whilst the corners provide the ideal surface to sharpen SpyderEdges (serrations.)
The stones are also brilliant for sharpening pointed items such as fishhooks, darts and awls due to a furrow running the length of each one.
In order to ensure your hands are protected whilst you are sharpening, the Spyderco set includes a set of brass safety rods.
The Spyderco 204MF Tri-Angle Sharpmaker is portable and compact as it all fits nicely into the self-contained ABS plastic base and lid.
Die-cut into the base are keyed slots and holes fitted for the stones. They accurately set the stone's sharpening angle at 30° (15° each side) or 40° (20° each side) for knives and there is a 12.5° scissor and pinking shear setting.
It is easy to use the stones as a bench stone by simply lying them side by side in the channel. The lid also closes halfway over the base which creates a handhold for stability whilst you are sharpening.
An instruction book and DVD is included in the pack!
