Silva Quarry Master Clinometer

The Silva Quarry Master is a new product especially designed for the borehole driller in quarries. Preventing Fly Rock and controlling wastage are priorities for any quarry manager. This value for money instrument offers the driller precise measurement of borehole angles and immediate assessment of any inaccuracies. After the hole has been drilled, a small container with a torch, attached to a reflective tape, is lowered down. In this way the driller can immediately sight down the hole towards the torch and control that the borehole is drilled in the correct angle. An unique feature to the Quarry Master, is the scale of -90° (horizontal) to 0° (vertical down) to +90° (horizontal) in 1° increments. It enables the operator to make correct readings without any scale conversions. The Quarry Master instrument features an aluminium protected sighting system for withstanding the tough conditions in quarries.

Sighting system: The Silva Quarry Master is equipped with a parallax-free glass lens magnification (10x) sighting system, integrated in an aluminium housing.

Capsule: Anti-static liquid-filled for optimal dampening of the clinometer card.

Clinometer card: Aluminium clinometer card with precision scale and top scale for direct readings from above the capsule at the lubber line. Sapphire jewel bearing for friction free movement of the card allowing fast and accurate readings.

Accuracy: Max ±0.25° from true angle with precision sighting. Max ±1.0° from true angle with direct reading at the lubber line from above the capsule.
