Incorporating a high power LED and a red LED, the Petzl Tikke Plus2 Headtorch is a new and improved version of the classic Tikka Plus.

With one high output white LED and a red LED the Tikka Plus2 has a total of five lighting modes (three white and one red) which can be used to adapt to any situation you might find yourself in. The high powered white LED can be set to maximum mode to give an output of 50 lumens, or flicked into economic mode where the Tikka Plus2 will deliver up to 140 hours burn time. Alternatively, the strobe mode can be use for emergency signalling.

When the battery is low, the red LED will use less battery power whilst still giving a high performance. Furthermore, a red light will preserve night vision better than using white, or for those not wanting to be found, will not cast its light so far, keeping you hidden in the night.

The Tikka Plus2 is also compatible with lithium batteries which will keep weight down and help performance in low temperature environments.
