Although this element is built to last and filters roughly 14,000 gallons of water before replacement becomes necessity, it is always wise to have a replacement ready, especially as you'll find the Combi Filter so indispensable that the Ceramic Element will inevitably reach the limit of its usable life again.

The silver impregnation inside the Katadyn Combi Ceramic Element minimises the chances of internal bacteria growth and is effective against bacteria, protozoa and water-borne organisms, providing you with safe, clean drinking water.
