An evolution of a Grivel the Grivel Air Tech Hammer Ice Axe is a T-rated axe, suited to alpinism and goulottes, as well as a powerful tool for self arrest.

Forced from a single piece of Chromolly steel for extra durability, the Air Tech Hammer Ice Axe takes all the features of the Air Tech classic and adds a useful hammer. The gentle curve beneath the head helps to give greater clearance when the pick is in use, whilst making sire the shaft will sink easily into the snow for a strong anchor.

The Air Tech Hammer Ice Axe also features Grivel’s sliding hand rest, also to move to the top of the axe when sunk in snow, or to the bottom for optimal support.

Weighing in at under 500 g, the Air Tech Hammer Ice Axe is lightweight as well as versatile.
