The Peli LAPD LED Flashlight 7060 is a rare collaboration between public and private sectors. The City of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has partnered with Peli to develop the LAPD LED Flashlight as the standard issue tactical/patrol flashlight for all its officers.

Working together the LAPD and Peli have redefined the tactical application of the standard duty light, using a consensus approach, the LAPD solicited input from community groups, the city of Los Angeles and most importantly the officers serving on the streets. The end result is the compact lightwieght Peli LAPD LED, a dual switch flashlight that allows the light to be activated by either a body-mounted patrol switch or a tail-mounted tactical switch. The dual switches, which include a momentary mode, allows the user to grip the light in several positions and still control activation.

The LAPD wanted blinding brightness and with the Peli 7060 that is exactly what you get, the powerful beam penetrates over 100 metres of darkness and the LED never needs replacing.

Tough, rugged and practical, the Peli LAPD LED Flashlight 7060 is made from high impact Xenoy resin and features grenade grip; a non-slip pattern for confidence in wet conditions.
