Berghaus Expeditor AQ Ridge Mens Leather Walking Boots

Berghaus Expeditor AQ Ridge Men's Leather Walking Boots are versatile three-season boots that you will find completely suitable for a wide range of outdoors activities. Even on extended and adventurous expeditions, these boots will remain comfortable.

Extensive testing has led to these boots being included on the recommended kit list by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.

The Opti-Stud hiking outsole pattern of these three-season boots was developed by Berghaus themselves and it will ensure a secure footing on a variety of types of ground whether stony, crumbly or muddy. The Opti-Stud system links large studs, which take the high force of impact, with smaller studs through support bars. This arrangement prevents the stud distorting on impact and allows the studs to push into the terrain to give excellent grip. This hiking configuration features a high surface contact and high-walled leading edges for a secure grip on trails and uneven terrain.

The upper is made from durable full-grain leather with air mesh elements that feature a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that makes them water resistant, the DWR finish causing rain to tend to ball up and roll off the surface rather than penetrating.

The lining of these Berghaus Expeditor AQ Ridge Men's Leather Walking Boots is of AQ waterproof fabric with an air-permeable membrane.
