This fantastic Sailing dinghy is designed and produced by Jean-Pierre Boutemy who is a French sailing champion of the 80’s.

Jean-Pierre has spent the last few years perfecting this pint size sailing boat expressly to teach young children to sail in the safety of enclosed waters.

The Mini Yacht is so small it will fit in a swimming pool, in fact we believe the Mini Yacht to be the smallest yacht or dinghy in the world!!!

Key features of this child’s dinghy are

• At only 1.4 meters this little yacht is made for children of 3 to 7 years Functioning like a real yacht the Mini Yacht has a tiller, sail, boom and mainsheet.
• The Mini Yacht comes with a life vest and sun cap as well as all the ropes and lines needed including a 4-metre safety tether for the instructor.
• The Mini Yacht only needs 40cm to float!! So, ideal in limited depth training pools or seaside attractions.

Whether you sail a racing yacht for a living or just mess about in a Laser, Topper or Optimist even if you favour the twin hulls of something like a Hobie cat you had to start somewhere. That somewhere can now be any sheltered water and with your child having his own Mini dingy he or she can start to enjoy the passion for sailing shared by millions of people all over the world.
