The island of Anglesey hugs the coast of North Wales and boasts over 100 miles of spectacular coastline within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making a long distance footpath that includes dramatic cliff tops, peaceful farmland, dunes and important salt marsh.

Clwyd contains the open heather clad hill and limestone cliffs of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, popular for the variety of scenery and its easy access. Offa's Dyke National Trail follows almost the entire length of the hills, and for cyclists there are many miles of mountain biking trails and routes. Such is the quality of the terrain that large challenge type biking events are held on the hills every year.
