LLT utilises self-powered micro gas lights installed in the hands and hour markers of the watch that require no external light sources or even the need to push a button.

Luminox watches are supplied to the US Navy SEALs, USAF, FBI, Secret Service, US Coast Guard, CIA, NYPD, LAPD, NYFD, LAFD and various other law enforcement groups, police services and fire departments.
