The very impressive Celestron X-Cel LX 1.25 inch 3x Barlow Lens will treble the magnification of any 1.25-inch eyepiece when inserted in your telescope.
This is therefore of especial use if you have a fast, short focal length telescope and it will be shown to its best advantage when viewing the Moon or planets in good viewing conditions.
The fully multi-coated optics provide very good-quality sharp and bright images with reduced chromatic aberration thanks to the three-element apochromatic system which bring three colours into focus in the same plane rather than the more usual two.
The barrel of the Celestron X-Cel LX 3x Barlow is threaded to accept 1.25-inch filters, allowing you to change eyepieces without requiring you to remove and re-attach the filter from each eyepiece barrel and a brass compression ring is used to hold the eyepiece securely in place.
