Uvex Goggles Lens Technology

Without a clear, undisturbed view any kind of outdoor sport is getting a non-calculable risk. For this reason a good ski goggle should be part of the equipment. Already in the 15th century colored lenses had been used to protect people against glaring sun radiation. Not before the 19th century it was recognized, that UV radiation is harming the human eye and even can lead to blindness. All uvex ski goggles have a special UV filter, which excludes the harmful radiation for 100%. The proven lasergold lite and lasergold lenses filter out the blue light thus improving contrast significantly. The new uvex goldgreen lens is a combination of lasergold lite and radar, a green lens tint which was developed by uvex. In the eighties, the radar lens was used by all uvex racers and was replaced by the lasergold lite lens years later. Now the comfortable and kind-to-the-eyes green lens tint has been combined with the contrast enhancing lasergold lite lens colour. The result is another uvex world novelty. UVEX - protecting people

	100% protection against harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays filters out short-wave blue components of visible light up to 400 nm uvex UV protection up to 400 nm - included in all uvex ski goggles and sports glasses - makes sports a harmless pleasure. Especially during skiing and watersport the eyes are vulnerable to extreme intensive reflection. Without protection longterm exposure to the short-wave blue components of visible light up to 400 nm can cause eye damage.
