IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please make sure the second hand is moving in one second increments. This indicates the watch is properly charged.
Check Graphic Display for charge level. If additional charging is needed, see the instruction manual for guidance.
The analog time (large hour, minute and 24 hour hand) cannot be set independently of the digital time and the digital time must be set FIRST in order to set the analog time.
TO SET TIME
Turn crown clockwise or counterclockwise to move the hand to the time (TME) position.
Press and release button B to change city code eastward and button A to move westward
When city code has been selected, pull crown out two steps, summertime (SMT) blinks. Press and release button A to select daylight or standard time (ON indicates daylight, OF indicates standard) hour hand will move accordingly
Press and release button B, seconds will blink. Reset seconds by using button A.
Press and release button B, minutes will blink. Turn the crown clockwise to advance minutes, turn the crown counterclockwise to move the minutes backward. For fast advance, turn the crown clockwise quickly 2 or 3 'clicks' and minutes will change rapidly until the crown is turned 1 'click' in either direction to stop the advance
Press and release button B, hours will blink. Rotate crown to change hours. Set to correct a.m. or p.m.
Press and release button B, hours will blink. Use button A to select a.m./p.m. (12H) or military time (24H)
Push crown in to finalize setting of digital time. All other cities are adjusted automatically when one city is set to correct time, including the UTC analog display.
After you have set the digital time, if you want the analog (hands) time to also indicate the time in your zone (city code), press buttons A and B simultaneously. the digital time (your time zone) will be switched to the analog display and vice versa. City code and digital time and now be changed to your time zone by using button B (eastward) or button A (westward). both analog and digital time now match.
If you want a time zone different than that shown on the digital display, to be shown by the analog (hands, move the digital time to the desired zone and repeat the switching function
TO SET CALENDAR
Turn crown clockwise or counterclockwise to move the hand to the calendar (CAL) position
Press and release button B to change city code eastward and button A to move westward
When city code has been selected, pull crown out two steps, month number will flash. Turn the crown clockwise to advance month number, turn the crown counterclockwise to move the month number backward. For fast advance, turn the crown clockwise quickly 2 or 3 'clicks' and month number will change rapidly until the crown is turned 1 'click' in either direction to stop its advance.
Press and release button B, date will blink. Use the crown in the same manner as above to correct the date.
Press and release button B, Year will blink. Use the crown in the same manner to set the year.
Push crown in to finalize calendar setting, year will disappear and day will be shown instead.
TO SET THE ALARMS
Turn crown clockwise or counterclockwise to move the mode hand to alarm 1 (AL-1) position
Press and release button B to change city code eastward and button A to move westward.
When city code has been selected, pull crown out two steps, alarm setting display blinks. Use button A to set alarm on or off. Press and release button B, hours will blink, turn the crown clockwise to advance the hours, turn the crown counterclockwise to move the hours backward. For fast advance, turn the crown clockwise quickly 2 or 3 'clicks' and hours will change rapidly until the crown is turned 1 'click' in either direction to stop its advance. Press and release button B, minutes will blink. Correct the minutes by using the crown in the same manner. Push crown in to finalize alarm setting. Alarm 2 and 3 are set in the same way as alarm !. When either alarm sounds, press any button to stop sounding. When buttons A and B are pushed simultaneously, in alarm mode, the monitor sounds.
While in Alarm mode, it can also be set to on or off by pulling crown out one step and pressing button A.
USING THE CHRONOGRAPH
Turn crown clockwise or counter clockwise to move the hand to chronograph (CHR) position.
Press and release button B to start or stop time measurement.
While chronograph is running, press button A for split time. Display now shows elapsed time for 10 seconds while continuing to measure elapsed time internally. After 10 seconds, display picks up counting at the true elapsed time and continues running until button A is pressed for split time again, or button B is pressed to stop.
After Chronograph is stopped, press button A to reset to 0
USING THE TIMER
Turn crown clockwise or counterclockwise to move the mode hand to timer (TMR) position. Pull the crown out two steps and turn the crown clockwise to move minutes backward. For fast advance, turn the crown clockwise quickly 2 or 3 'clicks' and minutes will change rapidly until the crown is turned 1 'click' in either direction to stop its advance. Push crown in to finalize timer setting.
Push button B to start or stop timer countdown.
Push button A while timer is running for fly back (ti timer set time) and automatic restart.
Push button A when timer is stopped to return timer to set time standby.
ZERO POSITIONING ADJUSTMENT
If the watch should display something improperly or a malfunction is suspected, please perform the following operation:
Turn crown clockwise or counter clockwise to move the mode hand to chronograph (CHR) position.
Pull the crown out two steps to go to Zero Position Correction Mode. All hands must indicate zero position (12:00 for hour hand and 2400 hours for a.m./p.m. hand. If not, turn crown clockwise to advance the hour and 24 hour hands, and turn crown counterclockwise to move them backward. Make sure 24 hour hand is set to zero position as well.
Press and release button B to change the minute hand. Turn crown clockwise to move minute hand backward. Be sure UTC clock is set to 2400 hours. Press and release B button to change the second hand. Turn crown clockwise to move second hand to the zero position. Push crown in, return to time mode and set time.
