Not blocking the flame completely, intelligently located holes in the lower windshield direct oxygen toward the burner for maximum efficiency.

With clips around the rim, the Upper Windshield securely holds a pan in place, and with hinges in the clips, pan height can be adjusted to be right over the flame for quick heat or further up for a gentler cook.
