Old Maps - Trafalgar Commemorative Chart

2005 saw the commemorative events around the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar 21 October 1805. This colourful chart shows the ‘Great Chase’ across the Atlantic Ocean and back again to the location of the battle off the coast of Portugal, and is illustrated by Nelson’s battle plans and the famous ‘England Expects….’ flag message.

The Admiralty Trafalgar Commemorative Chart, reproduced from an original chart held within the Archives, has been sensitively hand-coloured to depict the voyage that Nelson and his Fleet took onboard HMS Victory leading to the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Containing high-quality period images and historical facts, it can be displayed simply as a poster, or framed as a treasured artwork.
