The Suunto Running Pack provides personalised monitoring support for athletic exercise on foot, whether for general lifestyle fitness or for serious competition.
The Suunto Running Pack features the Suunto t3 watch, which analyses the intervals between the two phases of each heartbeat and translates the data into a Training Effect on a clear 1 to 5 scale. This Training Effect scale acts as a training guide on your past efforts and your potential aerobic fitness and it indicates how to achieve improved performance at a pace that you determine.
The Running Pack also contains the Foot POD. The Foot POD is a light, robust device that attaches easily to your shoe and transmits the data of the speed and distance from your run to the t3. The Foot POD can also be primed to alert you if you move above or below the speed parameters you have set yourself.
The Running Pack also includes the Suunto SmartBelt, the heart-rate transmitter belt. This belt allows you to monitor your heart rate in real time as you train.This means that you can take steps to adjust your real-time or average heart rate to be within the range identified as most suitable for your current training regime.
