The Echomax EMA031 Inflatable Radar Reflector is a SOLAS-approved which is a unique device using an innovative DuPont metalised and lacquered spun-bonded fabric array in a durable PVC casing that folds down neatly to pocket size.

The EMA031 is an ideal addition to a SOLAS-B Emergency Grab Bag for use on charter boats and MCA Code of Practice vessels.

The Echomax EMA031 can be halyard mounted as standard or deck mounted with an optional three-piece glass fibre rod kit.

Certified to Schedule 4, Part 4, Paragraph 1.1.14 of the Merchant Shipping (Life-saving Appliances Regulations 1986 and hence Chapter III, Regulation 38.5.1.14 of the 1983 Amendments to the International Convention for Safety of Life At Sea (SOLAS) 1974.

Suitable for stowage in liferaft emergency packs up to 36 m above sea level as required by IMO Specification annexed to UK Merchant Shipping Notice M.1485, 1991, published by the Department of Transport, Marine Directorate. Certificate no. QQ-TAN-04/3-01
