Petzl Scorpio Vertigo Lanyard

The Scorpio is a Y-shaped lanyard with tear-apart energy absorber designed specifically for Via Ferrata use. By using a shock absorbing lanyard you dramatically reduce the chances of injury in a fall compared to using a static sling (Slings are NOT suitable for Via-Ferrata use).

It has two elasticated lanyards which keep out of the way when not in use and a short central tape for clipping in when taking a rest. The Scorpio comes with or without vertigo krabs which are a type of locking krab designed specifically for Via-Ferrata use.
