Navionics Platinum XL3 electronic chart cartridges are the first multi-dimensional electronic charting product for marine chartplotters.

Numerous PC-based applications have shown charting and other ancillary information using CDs but the limitations of a PC on a boat and in particular on a bridge are well known.

Navionics Platinum offers charts, 3D bathymetrics, cruising guides, satellite and photographic images - all integrated and geo-referenced on a single plug & play cartridge that could not be simpler to use.

As well as the clear and complete information provided by Navionics Gold vector charts, the additional features of Navionics Platinum will transform your navigating and fishing experience.

The electronic navigational charts are based upon the official chart database created by the National Hydrographic Office for use with a chartplotter. The Hydrographic Office distributes the data to chart agents such as Navionics and C-MAP for reproduction, usually on an SD or Flash Card. Electronic cards either store waypoints directly on the card or use a second card to store such information.
