Type G10SL and P650/6500 are authentic US - military watches designed and built according to specifications defined in MIL-W-46374 F. These are the first military timepieces ever to be equipped with the patented mb-microtec H3 permanent light technology. Thousands of these two H3 models have been issued to the men and women of the US Armed Forces. Now, also available to civilians with the only departure from the military version being the addition of a date window - the non dated version is also available if preferred.

The G10SL 2005 is a self luminous infantry watch which is equipped with a special tritium light source. The G10SL 2005 edition is a slightly updated version of the previous G10SL and is usually in stock in both MWC branded and non branded versions. It is very easy to read and carries standard 12 hours markings with 24 hour annotation. The distinctive radioactive tri-foil symbol appears on the watch face, as does the H3 (Tritium) notation, because the hour positions and the hour and minute hands each have a brightly glowing vial of tritium gas. Taken together they contain less thatn the personal limit of 25 millicuries (U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations 10 CFR 20.15.).

These tiny, airtight Tritium vials, sealed under high pressure are 100 times brighter than any other current illumination system such as luminova, bright enough in fact to read a map if the watch is held close enough.
