Lowrance GlobalMap 5150c with Nauticpath Chart
Lowrance has launched its new, entry-level, 5-inch chartplotter, the GlobalMap 5150c with Nauticpath Chart.
The GlobalMap 5150c offers sailors a chartplotter package that includes a superb, sunlight-viewable, high-resolution screen boasting a 640V x 480H pixel display and comprehensive functionality.
The NauticPath Electronic Chart covers the UK, the coast of Europe from the Netherlands to Gibraltar and the Mediterranean coasts and islands of France and Spain.
The GlobalMap 5150 is a highly capable unit. Powered by a 12-parallel channel GPS receiver, in addition to Nauticpath charts, it also accepts the full range of Navionics marine cartography plus the land-based FreedomMaps.
Charting functions include:
- Accepts up to 1,000 waypoints, 1,000 event markers and 100 routes
- Zoom range of 0.02 to 4,000 miles
- 42 different graphic icons to mark significant locations
- One-touch man overboard feature
- GPS alarms
- GPS trip recording on SD/MMC digital media cards
- Built in back-up memory
Fully sealed and waterproof, the Lowrance GlobalMap 5150c is ideal for open cockpits, RIB dashboards and other exposed locations where its wide viewing angles and crisp display in all light conditions, including direct sunshine, really come into their own.
The GlobalMap 5150c is also perfectly suited to mounting at chart tables.
The unit is NMEA-0183-compliant for linking to a DSC VHF or autopilot.
