The three-layer Lorpen Women's Tri-Layer Midweight Hiker Crew Socks feature Hydrophobic (non-absorbent) Primaloft Eco Yarn polyester on the inside layer which wicks away sweat from your feet without absorbing it, keeping your feet dry and allowing for the socks to dry quickly.

The middle layer is made from hydrophilic naturally absorbent Merino wool fibre which absorbs your sweat from the inside and sends it to the outside of the sock. Therefore it evaporates quickly over a larger surface area on the outside of the sock.

The outer layer is nylon, a tough, durable fibre and highly resistant to abrasion located in the high-friction areas of the sock
