The looping feature of these Julbo Sunglasses is one of the special ideas that fit the design criteria for sunglasses for little children that will present no danger.

The frame is injection-moulded (no danger of paint or anything else coming off), the hinge is rubber, the glasses can be worn either way round, the arms of the glasses have been carved so that they fit around the babies head and have got grippy rubber on the inside and an elastic cord is included and can be attached to ensure that the sunglasses will not fall off.

• The design objective was to find a material that when children put them in their mouth there is no danger
• Another goal was to create a hinge on the glass that cannot trap small babies’ skin and cause pain
• Babies are never quite sure what way round the sunglass should fit so these sunglasses work both ways
• Arms on the sunglasses will hold firm on the babies head and not fall forwards when the baby lies down
