Grivel Jorasses 2.0 Ice Axe
Designed for classic alpinism, and with the ability to tackle lower grade ice climbs, the Grivel Jorasses 2.0 Ice Axe is a sturdy piece of alpine kit, with all the features making it suited to professional use.
The head has been hot-forged from a single piece of Chromolly steel, reducing weaknesses, and features a reinforced ‘net’ following the strength lines along the pick. The Jorasses 2.0 Ice Axe also features a shovel, handy for carving out steps.
With an ergonomic design, the Jorasses 2.0 Ice Axe uses a reverse curve inclination, giving a natural swing and plenty of leverage, whilst maintaining enough space to keep your knuckles clear of the ice. An ‘Easy Slide’ hand rest gives the Jorasses 2.0 further versatility, sliding to the top of the shaft when using the axe as a walking pole, but moving to the bottom to give your hand maximum grip when in traction.
The Ergal 7075 light alloy shaft corresponds to CE and UIAA norms.
