  • There is no official conversion from EUR to UK shoe sizes. We strongly recommend that customers do not rely on their street shoe sizes to buy climbing shoes, instead measure an exact foot length from round of heel to tip of longest toe and compare that to the footlength shown on the chart - this will give the correct fitting size for proper technical use.
  • Children should usually choose the size that is slightly above their current foot length to allow for growth and avoid damaging young growing feet. Adults should choose the size closest to their actual foot length.
  • Lined and fabric models will not stretch with time while unlined leather ones will stretch approx a 1/2 size once used for a while - this is taken account of in the shoe designs and size charts so does not need to be adjusted for when selecting your size.
  • We never recommend buying shoes that are smaller than the foot length, even for the most technical shoes as this is taken into account within the designs. Some advanced climbers do prefer to wear shoes smaller than indicated but this is for personal preference and hence not possible to give advice further on.
  • All climbing shoes are narrow fit, which is normal and in keeping with the technical purpose of the shoes. However, lace ups do allow for more adjustment control over width along the length of the shoe, which is particularly suitable for use on longer routes and for novices and children.
  • Women's versions have a narrower heel profile for better cupping of a women's heel but this also suits many narrower men's/teens' feet too, particularly if they find heel fit is loose on normal shoes.
