Exped Mountain Pro 40 Backpack
Exped Mountain Pro 40 Backpack
The Exped Mountain Pro 40 Backpack is a virtually waterproof pack with taped seams and laminated polester fabric. Based around a reinforced fold drybag, the Mountain Pro 40 has some innovative features that make it a great pack.
The latest version has undergone a re-design which addresses the few criticisms which were levelled at the previous version. The lid has been completely re-designed with elasticated sides and a water-resistant top pocket.
The back panel has also undergone a substantial improvement with a new thermo-moulded construction. Ice axe loops have been added as well as additional internal daisies.
The Exped Mountain Pro 40 Backpack is not your run-of-the-mill pack and may seem a bit quirky when you first get hold of it, but the more you use it the more you appreciate some of the design features that have gone into it and the more the bag makes sense.
Because it is near waterproof, the Mountain Pro 40 makes a great UK pack for those that go out in all weathers.
