The Exped Chairkit transforms your Downmat or Synmat into a comfort lounger, providing you with the comfort of your easy chair at home but on the top of a cliff, on the beach or wherever your excursions may take you.

The kit acts as a protective cover for your mat, the skin-friendly fabric making it even more comfortable and after a hard day's trekking, biking or skiing, it acts as a great way to relax. And it can easily and quickly be turned into a sleeping mat when the day's activities catch up on you. And if that isn't enough for you, more than one Exped Chairkit can be strapped together, creating your very own sofa in the wild!

The comfort of the Chairkit does not mean it is not tough. The bottom layer is made of the same material as the base of a tent and has a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head rating.
