The Deuter Zugspitze 25L Hiking Backpack has existed since 1984 and, as it has since then undergone a continuous process of refinement and improvement, you can take it for granted that this is a quality backpack which has its design for comfort right and its design for convenient and ample storage right too.

The comfort is derived from such features as the hip belt with ventilation pads, the contoured soft-edged shoulder straps and the sternum strap that keeps the pack on your shoulders.

As well as these features, there is the famous Deuter Aircomfort ventilation system which the original Zugspitze was one of the first backpacks to utilise and which allows a layer of air to exist between the wearer’s back and the backpack in order to minimise the discomfort of perspiration lying on the surface of the skin.

The 25-litre volume of the Deuter Zugspitze Hiking Backpack is generous for the needs of most day hikers but there are a number of integrated pockets which allow for helpful organisation of one’s possessions, including one designed to allow you to keep wet and/or dirty clothes away from other belongings.
