Deuter Junior Backpack 18L
These bags really are great for children, whether you have boys, girls or both! They are a good size and the Deuter quality is top notch, as you would expect. If not required for outdoor adventure, the bags are large enough to hold everything they need for a sleepover and small enough to use as a schoolbag. Although there is no room for a water reservoir inside the bag, the side pocket does fine in holding water bottles securely, nice and snug. If your children are ambitious, and love the outdoors, then the clips on the top of the bag to load a sleeping bag are great. The snaps are easy enough for little hands to snap and unbuckle without getting pinched, and I found that compared to similar bags in this price range the Deuter Junior was a good choice.
