Aquapac Waterproof Connected Electronics Equipment Case AQ 558

The Aquapac Waterproof Connected Electronics Equipment Case allows you to use your equipment whilst protecting it from water and dust. Your electronics will be safe whilst still enabling you to use buttons and switches through the casing.

The case is designed so that your device can be connected whilst you use it, making it ideal for use in areas where wireless connection is unavailable. The material also permits signal and sound to pass through enabling you to use it as normal.

Importantly your electronics will be protected if dropped in the water (immersion to 1 metre) and will float on the surface making it easy to retrieve.

The Aquapac Waterproof Connected Electronics Equipment Case is a perfect way to use your equipment as normal whilst keeping it safe from sand and sea spray!

Features

  • Like most Aquapac cases, will float if you drop it in water
  • Feeds out lead of up to 2.5-mm diameter from case
  • Seams are high-frequency welded to form super-strong bond
  • Aquaclip (patented, ultra-secure, rustproof, injection-moulded plastic seal) opens and closes with simple twist of two levers and everything stays in one piece even when open
  • Dimensions (H x Circum): 225 x 250 mm

Note on Aquapac and Insulin Pumps

Aquapac have commissioned research by Imperial College London into the use of the AQ 158 Insulin Pump Case and AQ 558 Connected Electronics Case after receiving a large number of customer enquiries regarding their suitability for use with insulin pumps. Results show that, in some circumstances, insulin flow rate can be reduced by the case. In particular, low flow rates are impeded, and as such Aquapac can make no claim regarding the suitability of these cases with insulin pumps. Use of these cases with insulin pumps is entirely at the discretion of the user. Aquapac has been advised to recommend that users of Aquapac cases with insulin pumps regularly check their blood sugar levels.
