The Weems and Plath Companion Lamp 818 is a very attractive glass chimney lamp that is not only very suitable as an extremely decorative feature in any living room or study but is also an efficient working lamp that uses a very convenient form of fuel to give a soft and pleasing illumination in the home, on a dining table for example, or onboard ship.

The Weems and Plath Companion Lamp is manufactured in solid cast brass which is then polished and lacquered so that it will resist the effects of being in a marine environment.

The base of this lamp is designed so that it will not slip if it is on a flat surface on a vessel which is subject to pitching as it makes its way through waves. The base is also fitted with holes to facilitate a fixed mounting if required.

The Weems and Plath Companion Lamp uses a very clever unique disposable fuel cell design which allows for a problem-free changing of the cell.
