Code of Practice Cat C Commercial First Aid Kit
We supply First Aid Kits for ocean-going vessels either in accordance with SOLAS or for leisure purposes.
The SOLAS Code of Practice Cat C Commercial First Aid Kit detailed below is available without evidence of medical competence.
For SOLAS A and B, evidence is required of suitable training in the use of the medications and instruments included. This may be in the form of a Certificate of Competence mailed to us or a signed request from a suitably qualified individual (e.g. doctor or GP) on headed paper.

Commercial First Aid Categories
- Cat. A: For vessels operating more than 150 miles from a port
- Cat. B: For vessels operating less than 150 miles from a port but within rescue service range
- Cat. C: For vessels operating less than 30 miles from a port (this category includes lifeboats and commercial liferafts)
