A super-strong and incredibly durable carabiner, the C.A.M.P. Steel D-Shaped Carabiner comes in three variations: screwgate, twist lock and twist lock evo. All three are suitable for use in a rigging, rescue or industrial setting.
Zinc plating prevents rust, making these carabiners suitable for use in the extreme outdoors and giving them a relatively long life compared to more conventional carabiners. All three feature versions of the C.A.M.P. Steel D-Shaped Carabiner feature a very high breaking point of 52 kN.
The twist lock requires two actions to open, a twist and pull, whereas the twist lock evo requires three, a slide, twist and pull (but both lock automatically). For optimal security, however, the screwgate is the ultimate option and the popular belay solution.
