The Cabin Range Brass Barometer is part of the Cabin range of marine instruments that also includes a clock and a tide clock.

The casing is of solid cast brass and it features hinged scuttle clamps, bevelled glass fronts and brass and black hands over a light cream dial.

This barometer has a silvered aneroid movement and shows air pressure in both millibars and inches of mercury.

The brass is not lacquered so it can have the original finish preserved with occasional polishing or it can be allowed to age naturally.
