Admiralty Charts Worldwide

SailGB sells the British Admiralty's entire global portfolio of paper charts consisting of over 3300 Standard Navigational Charts, and provides coverage at a range of scales to suit the requirements of professional, commercial and recreational navigators worldwide.

Standard Navigational Charts (SNCs) are continually updated to weekly Admiralty Notices to Mariners (NMs) and are fully corrected up to date at time of sale to ensure that they include all safety-critical navigational information. Subsequent update notices are available at the UKHO website.

SNCs are printed on durable paper for ease of correction and chart detail is governed by scale as follows:

• Large Scale - charts covering harbours, anchorages and navigational hazards.
• Medium Scale - charts for coastal navigation.
• Small Scale - charts for offshore navigation and passage planning.

  It is recommended that mariners always use the largest scale chart available, particularly in busy seaways such as The English Channel, Gulf of Suez and Mallaca and Singapore Straits.

The Admiralty SNC series is supplemented by Mariners Routeing Guides which show route planning and all necessary regulations appropriate to the area of navigation. Search "routeing" at top left to see these.

Delivery
Up to date Charts are despatched as soon as practicable in protective tubes - when checking out please use Shipping code A in UK and code C for Europe and USA. For commonly held charts this will be between 1-3 days, for others there may be a delay of approx 7 days. If delivery is required urgently please contact us and we will be pleased to help.

Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not, just return the product to us, following the instructions above, and we'll exchange or refund it. Please see below for products excluded from this policy.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to return the product(s) for a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt.
Normally we'll refund the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase.

Condition of returns

It's important that returned items and their packaging are in the best possible condition, so please take reasonable care of them.

Products we're unable to cancel, refund or exchange

Unless faulty or not as described, we cannot cancel orders, refund or offer an exchange on: Special orders, personalised or made-to-measure products Perishable goods Flares or other hazardous goods CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or video
We're unable to accept cancellations for these products once ordered.

Buying large or long goods or hazardous products

Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access (including doors, corridors, stairs and corners), as well as the proposed location, before you order large items to enable us to deliver your order successfully.
