Admiralty Charts Worldwide

sailgb and Admiralty Leisure Charts

sailgb sells the British Admiralty’s entire global portfolio of paper charts as Leisure Folios, Leisure Editions and Standard Nautical Charts.

  • Leisure Folios, the flagship Leisure products, are A2 size sheets contained in a water-resistant case covering the key leisure locations in the British Isles, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Leisure Folios fit on a small craft chart table without folding and are designed for leisure yachtsmen, dinghy and motor boat mariners as well as professional mariners and ocean racing skippers.
  • Leisure Editions are Standard Nautical Charts but adapted specifically for leisure use, folded to a more convenient size and printed on high wet-strength paper to absorb less water and to withstand more vigorous use.
Leisure Editions are aimed at the yachtsmen, are regularly updated in line with the corresponding standard charts and on the back contain Coastguard, Radio, Environmental and Weather information plus IALA Maritime Buoyage System data.
  • Standard Nautical Charts are produced in a range of scales:
    • Large-Scale charts for harbours, anchorages and navigational hazards
    • Medium-Scale charts for coastal navigation
    • Small-Scale charts for offshore navigation and passage planning

Standard Nautical Charts provide full global coverage, are produced on A0 size cartridge paper and are supplied rolled, not folded.

It is recommended that mariners always use the largest scale chart available, particularly in busy seaways such as The English Channel, The Gulf of Suez and The Mallaca and Singapore Straits.
