What's New?
- The Zip: Master Seal 10 is a new nylon zip supplied by Tizip which is a great flexible zip that can be relied upon while having low maintenance requirements
- Fabrics: The TR40 uses a new lightweight 4-oz nylon with the same waterproof coating as used on Trident's Matrix drysuit in 2009/2010
- Design: New stylish design developed to give you a practical, stylish, comfortable drysuit to wear incorporating hard-wearing seat and knee panels, braces, elasticated waistband and anatomically designed knees
- Extensions for growing juniors: Trident are able to add extensions to their drysuits, ideal when a child is growing quickly
- Trident can add extensions to the legs (most popular), arms and body (only on back zip suits)
Specification
- Fabric: 4-oz Nylon: TR40 uses a nylon-based fabric with a specially developed breathable hydophilic coating for drysuit use
- Breathable: Yes, thanks to the hydrophilic coating, which absorbs moisture from the high humidity zone around the body and drives it outwards by body heat
- Zip Type: Masterseal 10 Tizip: Excellent flexible nylon zip with low maintenance requirements and very comfortable to wear
- Zip Position: Back or Front: Trident make this suit with a front or back zip - you decide
- Internal Braces: Yes, and a must on a drysuit, the internal braces keep the waist and crutch at the correct height, giving freedom of movement whether standing or sitting
- Neck Seal: Latex: Trident consider the latex neck seal to be the best option, giving a reliable seal
- Wrist Seal: Neoprene: Trident consider the neoprene wrist seal to be the best option as the neoprene gives a great seal on the wrist
- Foot Seal: 3D Latex Sock: Most drysuits use these, keeping feet dry and warm but they need protective boots worn over the top
- Heavy-Duty Seat and Knee Panels: Yes, the suit has heavy-duty 7-oz knee and seat panels, increasing the durability in these high-wear areas
- Elasticated Waist Band: Yes, this helps give the suit a better, more comfortable fit
- Articulated Knees: Yes. there is more material in the knees of the suit, allowing the legs to bend without restriction - important given the large amount of time spent legs bent
- Sock Covers: Yes, covering around the ankle to help protect the top of the latex sock
- Guarantee: Up to 3 years: Trident Drysuits are guaranteed against faulty workmanship for 3 years from date of purchase and materials for 1 year from date of purchase
